Just spoke to TT Customer Service.  This is a known issue and being worked by their IT dept.  No ETA as yet.  Can register your email with customer service for updates on fix.  Call TT 800 number to get registered for updates.

You cannot file the form via snail mail!!!!!!!

I have two S-Corps and received this same message while doing both.  I contacted TT customer support and spoke with an individual who said she was a CPA.  I am a CPA and have my doubts that she is one.  She did not even know what form 8453-S is or that it is required when e-filing a return.  She was absolutely no help and said she could not transfer me to someone else (unless she and I did not speak the same language or it was an identify fraud related call).  I later received an email from her that provided a link for the form on the IRS website.  Her signature line said she has been a CPA for 20 years.  Sure thing.

This is obviously a TT programming issue.  I have not been successful reaching the technical team, but hopefully it will be brought to their attention and solved quickly.  These returns are due in about 3 weeks.

They do a terrible job routing tech support between support with taxes and technical/software issues. It’s frustrating to get tax/accounting support when technical support is needed. It’s a waste of a lot of resources on both sides.

I've been using TurboTax for a long time, despite their commie political leanings.  The software has always worked pretty well, until now.  They better un-ass themselves pretty quick, because there are plenty of alternatives

Update: After speaking with 4 different TT support reps throughout the day yesterday I confirmed they are aware of the situation.  I provided screen shots and additional information to the last rep I spoke with and he was in contact with the tech team.

I have same problem.  Going to call my s corp taxes done, and use the K-1 in my personal return and wait until last minute to see if I can electronic file, but will paper file on March 15 if not.
