Information worksheet has S corp name the software flagged it for an error saying the return can not be filed electronically with PDF's attached as type 'Other'

Getting the same error with TurboTax download:

S Corporation Information Worksheet: S Corp Name  This return can not be filed electronically with PDF's attached as type 'Other'.

Only attachment is: 8453 Signature Document and is a ".pdf" file.

Will wait a couple days to see if this gets fixed.

ME TOO! This has to be a bug, since we have at attach that form every year to e-file.  Hoping for a speedy solution.

Just got off the phone with a support rep.  We tried a number of things, none of which helped.  So, after 35 minutes, he's put me in a 15-20 min. queue for a tax advisor technician who can hopefully resolve the issue.  Stay tuned...

The issue was sent to the support team by the CPA at 4:42pm EST.

The support team advised that form 8453 is not a supported form for e-filing.  So we are all stuck in a circular error until this gets resolved in a future update.  The advice I received was to wait a few weeks to see if a future update addresses this.  Of course, mailing in the return is always an option.  Not the answer anyone wants but it's what I was told.

I've been attaching an 8543-S form with e-filing for several years. At the top of this year's 2019 8543-S form is the same as previous years: "File electronically with the corporation's tax returns. (Don't file paper copies.)". This doesn't seem to agree with the answer you received "The support team advised that form 8453 is not a supported form for e-filing". If you have a way to contact them again, can you ask why their answer doesn't agree with the top of the 2019 form? Thanks.
