Yes!  You can download the .tax2019 file for free.

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW).

Thank you very much. 

Now I have another problem. When I attempt to file, the system tells me that Schedule E, pg 2 , is not yet ready or issued and that the will contact when it is. Now that they have contacted me whenever I log-in it takes me to the online version. ( I will plan to delete it and see what happens).  When I check the list of forms available it tells me that my for is available but it does not seem to download. I'm stuck.

I can print the return, but when the schedule E comes out it says do not file.

I don't know about schedule E.  Haven't seen any reports on that.  Have you updated the program?  Are you on Windows or Mac?  For Windows go up to Online - Check for Updates.
