To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Start the 2022 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.
On the Tax Home webpage -
Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $43 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
I tried starting the 2022 return - I went as far as answering some of the income questions. Still no option to view Tax Home! Any other suggestions? I can't believe I didn't save a .pdf to my computer when I filed. Ugh.
If you have gotten to the point where you can add income then you should be able to scroll down to get to the prior year information ... look again. Try logging out and then come back in ... the landing page saying the return is IN PROGRESS should let you get the prior year info ... and do save the PDF to your computer and not just review it.

Some of the Questions isn't enough..keeep going thru the Q&A on the 2022 main screen.
One of the users/Champs indicated 12 pages of questions !
Yes ... the starting screens are about a dozen or so ... but you will eventually get to the landing/home screen where the prior year options will be available. You must do this even if you will NOT use TT for the 2022 return. Just remember this is a free service ... in the past if you did not use a paid version you had to PAY for the prior year access so this is just the deal.
Got it! Thank you all! I had to answer several questions, log out, log back in and THEN I could see menu options. Thanks again for the help.
