Hi,
When your extension was filed (if filed with TurboTax) you should have received an email from us showing if it was accepted. If you no longer have the ability to access older emails, you can also call us and we can help you find that information (if efiled through us)
If you mailed your extension, you can contact the IRS for the federal extension. If your state requires that you file an extension application separate from the federal tax extension application, you'll have to contact the taxing authorities in your state to check on its status.
