What state? Most states are not ready yet.
@avmanmike @VolvoGirl
The notice that you must e-File and not print seems misleading. The very likely issue of "not ready for prime time" yet.
As VolvoGirl stated, many of the state tax filing parts of TurboTax have not yet (as of today, 1/6/2024) been completed and released for you. So while all of the Federal Forms that you need to file for 2023 may be complete and ready to use, and even to file, the states always tend to be somewhat later (most are showing availability between 1/11/2024 and 1/24/2024). Once that particular state component and forms has been released, you should then be able to proceed to File And Print. The notice of a requirement for e-Filing seems a bit misleading.
That link is very helpful. My state is available and the form I need is available too.
The PDF has my Federal return, my state return with the "do not file" message, and then a copy of my Federal return to file with the state taxes.
I am having the same issue
It's possible the forms are not ready yet.
Here is an article you can reference that will tell you particular forms availability.
This is still unresolved for me. The Turbotax website indicates that the forms are available for e-file and printing, but I cannot print the file.
E-file officially opens today. See if you are able to file by the end of the day today.
