I have downloaded and only have to put in the license code.  Where do I enter it?

You will be asked to activate your software once you have downloaded the product.  To activate your software, follow these steps provided by TurboTax:

1. Sign in to or create your Intuit Account.
   • If there's a blank screen instead of a sign-in option, or you're redirected to the sign-in page multiple times, go here if you have a Mac or here if you have Windows.
   • If you have an account and are having trouble logging in, go to I need help signing into my Intuit Account.
2. Enter your license code.
3. Start using TurboTax.

You will need to enter your license code when you are installing your program and before you can use your software. The license code is a 16-character combination of letters and numbers (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).

In another thread you said you purchased the "standard" edition of TurboTax at Costco.   Are you preparing a Canadian return?    Standard Edition is a Canadian product.   You have been posting in the USA TurboTax forum.
