Turbo Tax doesn’t help with past years. You need to go to a local tax place or accountant in person. When Online opens for 2024 in December you can sign up for LIVE Expert Help.

What is Full Service?
When online software for 2024 becomes available in early December you can use the services of a "Live" expert for 2024, but they do not help with past year returns. If you want to use TurboTax for a past year tax return--like 2022 or 2023, you need the "do-it-yourself" desktop software downloaded to a full PC or Mac. Or, if you want the help of a tax expert, find one locally and pay them.
To file a return for a prior tax year
If you need to prepare a return for 2021, 2022, or 2023 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign, and mail the return(s)

You may also want to explore purchasing the software from various retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s, etc.
Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
Hello, is someone available to talk to me regarding my taxes and 401k loan I took as a hardship?
You can ask here by replying. Or, when you are in your TurboTax Online account, you can click the Live Tax Advice (in the upper right hand corner) and choose Live Assisted tax prep. Or try this contact method.
Unlike a loan against your 401(k), a hardship withdrawal can’t be repaid. It'll be treated as a taxable distribution and reported on a 1099-R. If you live in a federally declared disaster area, the 10% early withdrawal penalty for accounts up to $22,000 for tax year 2024 waived.
