So i have two questions the first one has to do with the form 1098 T. My college states that it does not participate in that and that it is best to not claim in on my tax return but i have paid out of pocket for my tuition its not much but still will i be able to claim it as long as i have proof? My second question is that i recently adopted my wife's son (my son but not biological) and i know i can claim those expenses on my tax return but i am unsure of what i need and what is required?

1. Tuition--
2. Sorry---the adoption credit is not available to you when the child you adopted is your spouse's child.
