WHO IS THIS TAX RETURN FOR?
If the tax return you are preparing is for your daughter then all of the questions are for her--not "you" literally. The software does not know who is sitting at the keyboard. The software is for a self-prepared tax return so the questions are asked as if the person who the tax return is for is the one sitting there answering the questions.

Online is only good for 1 return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. How to start another return in the Online version
Is she your dependent? Be sure on their return they check the box that says they can be claimed on someone else’s return. If their only income is W2 and under 12,200 they do not have to file a return except to get back any withholding taken out.
