Thanks for posting this - I get the same error on TTax Deluxe windows and just posted the issue as well.
In my case, the IRA was transferred in 2025 to a different clearing house, so the new one did not exist in 2024, hence no RMD. Same workaround.
TurboTax Home & Business 2025 Desktop. My husband and I each have a 1099-Div from Computershare/Verizon. I can import one but when I import the 2nd one it removes the first one. I get a dialog box that says "Ready to import your documents? First, we'll remove your old data from this account to ensure your return is accurate." My options are "Remove and Import" or "Cancel". I believe this is a bug.
Unable to purchase second state return, expiration month not selectable
TurboTax Deluxe Desktop for Mac
application: 2025.r18.025
The expiration month drop down does not let you type in the month and only allows the drop down but it won't go beyond month 08. If the credit card expires in 09 - 12 you cannot go any further.
I am using the TurboTax Deluxe desktop edition
When I enter my 1099-NEC, the income amount entered is not appearing on the Your 2025 Income Summary screen, but it is appearing on Schedule C.
You might want to call TTax and report the problem. 800-446-8848 (restored).
I did this and waited on hold a while, then got an operator who was not so good, but transferred me to one who was not much better, and then I got a fast busy signal and later an email that the ticket was closed!
So - later in the day I called again, waited 30 minutes, and got a GREAT operator who did a screen share and who totally understood my explanation of the bug (1099-R w/d ignored if no RMD required for this IRA, so penalty generated) and said I was the first to report it.
Will it get fixed? Who know, or knows when, but I have a workaround.
While using TurboTax Deluxe, I was importing income from Fidelity.com for a Roth Conversion and the import worked fine for my Federal return but upon starting my Alabama State return, the taxable income was double-counted thus a software error. I contacted your Expert rep via text message and was told to send a message to turbotax.intuit.com/support conveying that a sofware error exists. We were able to confirm that my Federal income in accurate but NOT accurate in the State return as confirmed via Form 40. A software correction is needed. Thanks!
I am using the Premier Desktop version.
I am stuck in an infinite loop. When trying to import E*trade dividend, interest, and stock trade tax documents, the TurboTax app opens a browser outside of the application. I am prompted for E*trade username and password in a browser. I successfully login and I see a message that intuit has access to my data (Connection complete! Success! We got your tax data. You can now return to TurboTax.).
I switch back to the application and see that nothing has changed. If I click the Continue button again, it opens another browser session outside of the TurboTax window and asks for username and password again.
I can successfully import the documents in the TurboTax web application online. I bought the desktop version. I don't want to pay again online.
I think I had a similar problem with an import, so thanks for posting. I'll await an expert reply along with you.
when the new window tells you turbo tax has the import and you go back into TurboTax, instead of continue, you should have an option to import now. If you select that instead of continue it should import your brokerage information. At least that’s what I figured out after two trips through the cycle.
I don't get the Import Now button in the desktop application. I did get and use the Import Now button in the web application.
