The following is the only contact information Intuit provides on their website. I would ask the representative that answers for an email address for Intuit's Customer Service department regarding a complaint about a representative & if they don't know, ask to speak with a supervisor.

Contact Us

Get expert assistance by calling us at 1-800-4-INTUIT ([phone number removed]).

After answering "no" and "customer service" to the bot for about 20 plus questions, I was privileged enough to wait 10-15 minutes for a representative, Jasmine (silent "J" pronounced "H") who hung up on me after correcting me about pronouncing her name and listening to 2 sentences from me.  Not calling back.

It is the ONLY way to contact them. that 800 number and a bot plays 20 questions.

To clarify, may I answer a tax question for you?

There is no email for complaints and calling will not get you any results.  You can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and you will get a response.

  • I had a lot of money that I was supposed to receive by mail filling my one W2 on this app and I told many representatives like hey my money didn't go to IRS and when I did my W2 on here I carefully double checked to make sure nothing was wrong doing my W2 , But it seemed it went by saying Printed and Not Accepted And no representative help me and I never received my Full Refund

You said  "by mail filing my one W2 on this app" How many W-2's did you have?  How many returns did you file?  Why did you mail the return?  What money didn't go to the IRS?

You should only file ONE return per year that includes ALL income from ALL sources.  If you filed more than one return, the IRS would flag this and should be sending you a letter of correction.

Me too.  I had to uninstall TurboTax after I had downloaded the Minnesota software and reload it.  It wouldn't let me download Minnesota again for free.  I talked to 3 representatives over 3 hours before 1 finally had the answer of how to do it.  But I had to pay for the Minnesota software which used the $10 credit that came with it as well as a $37.98 charge to my credit card.

The rep told me to file for a refund which I did 2 weeks ago and have still heard nothing.

TurboTax seems to do something like this every year and I'm at the point of never using them again.

I have the same question.  I've used TurboTax, somewhat unwillingly, for over 20 years.  This year, has been the absolute worst so far as far as getting started -- first I had to install/"upgrade" to Windows 11 (fine, but that's a whole other headache) and then I had to figure out how to download the software I purchased from Amazon with absolutely no instructions, and now I have to log into an Intuit account to activate the software THAT I PAID FOR at this point days ago--only to find out that Intuit doesn't recognize any of my passwords and ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT let me reset the or recover the password, even after verifying the phone number and email address several times.  Now my account is locked, and I'm still not able to run the software I purchased days ago.

Thank you for letting me vent on your thread.  I'm just so frustrated with Intuit right now.  They're a terrible terrible company as far as customer service, always have been.

I have been more than angry for the treatment I have received this year.. I set up that id use an expert to get my taxes done. I’ve filed myself for past 3 years but with a new law , I thought this to be best .  First person , Ruby , had no idea what she was doing. Didn’t even ask for paystub . Another lady took it over through chat .  Left me hanging with nothing for days then Emmanuel from New Jersey told me the call was ended and hung up on me. What??  No help after everything had been down loaded. Disgusting and overly disappointing!!! I cancelled having an expert. You all should be ashamed and change your line of work. No help experts!!!!

Hi @user17695874326

This is not the experience we expect for our users and we would like to look further into this. I have sent you a private message to better assist you.

Suzy,

I have not received a private message from you in regards to anything.   Still waiting while my email box fills up with canned answers saying my voice is heard!

I've been filing with Turbo Tax for about 13 years!! these past two years their services has really dropped to a low. I was overcharged last year. I had to call a few times for them to reimburse me. This year, the same thing happened. I am getting the run around about my refund. They lie and say they got an approval to reimburse me but no money has been returned yet. I was told they will email me a receipt of my reimbursement. The only email I received was to complete a survey. This will be my last year using their service. I will post on my social media pages Warning: Do not to file with Turbo tax. They are conducting fraudulent activities.

@CatinaT1YOU AND YOUR TEAM ARE BOOTY CHEEKS

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Do not pay for Expert Full Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't agree more with some of these comments on how awful this TurboTax Expert service is! Honestly, the incompetence I've been dealing with for the last going on three weeks is beyond frustrating! The system fails to match me with an expert. When I do speak with someone, they sound like an idiot. They've never been trained on any business practices or processes. No answer is the same from one expert to the other. You always get conflicting answers, and none of them are the correct answer and/or the correct information that you need. And management and senior leadership are nowhere to be found. The company has structured itself where you can't find a channel to escalate your issues. There's no one around to get them resolved, so you're just left frustrated, costing you more money! Did I say frustrated?

I also agree. Do not use TurboTax! My taxes are very simple and I selected the free software and the standard deductions. TurboTax online told me that because I'm a homeowner, I'm required to pay for the Deluxe preparation. However, when I went to another free site to prepare my state tax return, I discovered that NO other site is charging me for a federal return except Turbotax. They attempt to trick consumers. Customer service refused to help me or refund me. Use another service or prepare to be ripped off.

You cant... their website is garbage.. wont accept payment via credit or debit but when you click pay with return (which costs more) it magically works... then they make you consent to giving away personal info before you can even file... add ons and more add ons that are completely worthless..file somewhere else...

Your last representative, Jaden hung up on me. She was unable to answer. My question had very little interest in my question and very little understanding of the subject matter.

@LaShaunA3 your response illustrates how remedial and incompetent your team is!

No one has the leadership ability or critical thinking ability to get anything resolved. TurboTax is a cash grab!
