How can I file free turbo tax when the system keeps pulling up old information??

the easiest thing to do is to create a new account under a different email/user name.

If the system is prompting you to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe, the system is detecting that your tax situation requires additional forms or schedules that are not covered in the free edition.
