How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

This doesn't work since they don't show the address. For some reason, it picked up OR instead of CA, and the zip code doesn't match.

Why can't you access the address for a 1098?

This solution doesn't work--clicking on the form doesn't take me to the address.

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

It's best to delete the imported form then manually re-enter to update your address as suggested by VolvoGirl above. @anniegroven23

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

I did this twice and still didn't work. The application is not parsing correctly. It converts CA to OR.

Maybe the zip code is wrong?

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

It parses the zip code (CA zip) correctly. The error occurs when the zip does not match the OR address and errors out when processing. I had to put in an OR zip code to get to work. It would be better if you could access the state and change the value.

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

even when I click edit, it only allows me to change certain info. Im stuck in a loop trying to change the address on the document but it enters it automatically without me entering any of that info previously or using uploading a document

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

when entering it manually there is 0 option to put in the address myself and somehow it still puts in the incorrect address. I have no documents related to this 1099 uploaded.

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

If you imported your 1099-INT, you can delete it and re-enter it manually.   Here's How to Update or Delete Imported Data.

When you indicate in TurboTax that a form belongs to a taxpayer, it defaults to the address you entered in the Personal Info section (current address).  If the form has an old address, that won't affect your return; the IRS knows that people move.

If you're using TurboTax Desktop, in FORMS mode you can change the address directly on the form.

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

This provided link leads to guidance on importing information from QuickBooks.

I have the same problem with my 1099-INT. There is no place to input the address at all. When I deleted it and selected the option to enter it in manually, there was no where to enter an address or enter the entire form manually, it only let me select who the form was for (me or my husband, in this case my husband) and then the amount. However, the address in the final form places the city, state, and zip code on the top line of the address under "recipient" then fills random words in the other blanks, leading to a nonsensical address.

Given that this cannot be edited manually in the current coding of TurboTax Online, is it better to delete the whole thing and file a false tax return, or submit one with a nonsensical address, which would also be considered a false tax return?

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

What finally worked for me was deleting the 1099-INT, logging out, clearing all my browser data, restarting my computer, and signing back in to enter the form manually. It still does NOT have a place for typing in the address or anything else manually, but at least it didn't trigger and error this time when I went to file my taxes, so I have to assume the address issue was fixed.

It's weird because you type in the name of the institution and it never asks you confirm the address or identification of the institution in any way, just sweeps you along to the next window.

How do I change the "Recipient's address" on my 1099-INT form?

It appears the IRS does not require you to enter details on the Form 1099-INT entry such as federal ID number and address of the company issuing the form. I assume they add up the total interest reported to them and compare that with the total entered on your tax return and as long as you aren't deficient, there will not be a problem.
