Go to My Info and click edit by the name of the primary tax payer and change it to your daughter's name. Make sure that everything else you entered for her is really her information like the SSN and not your own.
If you are preparing a tax return for someone other than yourself, you have to remember that the software does not know who is sitting at the keyboard. The questions are for the person whose tax return is being prepared--not "you." Answer the questions as if you are "Aunt Betty" , “Dad,” ”Grandma” or whoever it is you are preparing the return for.
