Intuit does not make your tax payments. What did you do that made you believe that the payment would be made by TurboTax? Did you indicate a direct debit from your bank account when you filed your tax return? Did you enter the correct banking information----the correct account and correct routing number? If you indicated banking information for a direct debit then it is up to the IRS to make the withdrawal.
Intuit doesn't make any payments for you.
You must set up the payment and you are responsible for seeing it through.
What type of tax payment are you asking about: tax due with your tax return? a payment with an extension? an estimated tax payment? For what year? Federal or state? Where did you enter the information about the payment to be made?
Better double check your bank account and routing number with your bank. Some banks use a different number for deposits and payments. And check your tax return to see how you selected to pay it. It should be on the cover sheet.
How to review the method to pay the tax due
Your only proof of payment is your bank statement or credit card showing the payment coming out. Turbo Tax only passes your bank account number to the IRS or state for them to take it out of your account. (Most states do not let you pay by Direct Debit so you have to mail in a check or go directly to the state's website to pay). And some banks use different routing numbers for deposits and payments. Double check the number you entered with your bank.
