Hello,
I have entered all information from form1095A in Turbotax but when I save my taxes in PDF I don't see form 8962. I can see both forms in my Turbotax 1095A and 8962 but they are not printing? Do I need to eFile? I was planning to print and mail my taxes to IRS. Any idea why form 8962 is not printing? Thanks

There's a special rule this year for Form 8962 because the American Rescue Plan Act suspended repayment of excess Advance Premium Tax Credit for 2020 only. You only file Form 8962 if it has a net Premium Tax Credit on line 26. If line 26 is blank or zero, you do not file the form. If it shows a repayment on line 29 you do not have to pay it.
Hello,
I am asking a question for my friend. He said that he had health insurance for 2 months only. After 2 months he got the health insurance through his employer. Now he got 1095-A for 2 months. Does he need to file 1095-A with tax return?
Yes. Any Form 1095-A has to be entered in the tax return. It doesn't matter if it's for only part of the year, or if the person dropped the insurance or had other insurance.
In the future, if you have a new question, please post a separate new question instead of tacking it on to a year-old thread about a different issue.
