Form 5695 processing error

Does turbotax have any answers for long prolonged pending efiling returns??

I refiled mine yesterday (March 27) morning. My transmittal confirmation email said processing time is 24-48 hrs and to expect it to be accepted (or not) on March 29 (tomorrow).

So if I don't receive some info today or tomorrow TurboTax should provide an explanation.

now, essentially the rejection message is now stating 4th of April for anticipated fix date, in which this so-called fix date has been pushed back time and time again. This is getting very frustrating and as the dead-line approaching (4/15), i am not so sure if i can count on that. Since i paid for the software to do this, i am not mailing it out, it is not cheap.

My box is unchecked and the return still gets rejected

Both mine and my girlfriend’s were rejected both today and yesterday. I really hope they have a fix soon or will be automatically filing for an extension for us. We paid $200 each for this software and do every year. So incredibly frustrating. Especially when TT proactively calls me to tell me to resubmit. Then when I tell them the issue they have no idea about it and tell me, “Try again later.”

Mine took 8 hours to get rejected, much longer than the previous rejections

So what is going on Turbo Tax?

Called irs and they have no form 5965 errors...said it was turbotax customers.

Irs said only an issue w turbotax and to try another tax software to efile...if that solution works, should get refund from turbotax!

Below is the last error description.  What is really going on and why cant this be fixed? 

1. Who has scheduled the resolution for April 4, 2025 and who is resolving this? 

2. As another person said, they called IRS who said it is a TurboTax problem not an IRS problem.  Yes or No?

Description of error:

Data in the return is missing or invalid. Please double check your entries.

What needs to be done:

This return was not e-filed due to a processing issue on Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits and the associated Joint Occupancy Statement. Resolution of this issue is scheduled for April 4, 2025. On or after April 4, 2025, open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing.
