I efiled and then did an amendment and added the statement - it showed no change in tax liability. I chose to send it US Mail certified, but may not be needed. ...

I just e filed as sole owner...no co occupant...withmy portion of the credit... and then amended my return by paper noting cooccupant, no change in tax liabilit...

Mine worked after deleting the form and starting over saying I was sole owner. That's why I did an amended return w a statement after getting accepted. I did it...
