Both 2017 Federal and state rejected, How can I refile?

2017?  You cannot e-file a 2017 return.  A 2017 return has to be printed, signed and mailed.  E-filing for a 2017 return has been closed since mid-October of 2018.  If you already paid your TurboTax fees for the use of the 2017 software you can print and mail it.  If you did not pay yet, then you will have to pay in order to print the returns.

 

If you have any changes/corrections at all to make to your 2017 return, you now have to complete it using desktop software, which you must download to a full PC or Mac  (not to a mobile device).Then you need to print, sign and mail it.
