Hi

 I need to do my taxes today (I filed for an extension, using Turbo Tax

 Now when I try to reload my return, it wants to update TurboTax, but is unable to do it

 I have removed my Avast virus protextion software, but it didn't help!

Code 2329 is not a listed error code.

I tried to do a 2019 update, got error code 2329.  Checked with Micro Soft, got no help at all.  Is the disc defective.  Seems like I can;t get a good answer from Turbo tax, don't they know what the problem is either?

Error 2329 is an installer error with Microsoft. Please try this solution provided by HeatherPLO:

What do I have to do with error code 2329 when its saying there maybe a problem with the software package. Come on people give me some help.

I had the same problem.  I tried everything to get the program to load nothing worked.  I finally tried the laptop that I used last year to do my taxes on, it hadn't been updated in a year, the program loaded without a problem.  So its some update that took place within the past year that is the problem.  I know this info may not help, but at least it will give you somewhere to start looking maybe.

Just downloaded Turbo Tax Deluxe from an Amazon purchase.  Updates would not complete error code can't remember.  Now I'm getting error code 2329 when trying to get federal tax forms.

I had the same problem when trying to install Turbo Tax on my Laptop which was updated several times during the year and I couldn't get it to install completely. Switched to my desk top with a new hard drive operating with MS 10 and the Turbo Tax installed without a hitch, so I'm presuming that something that was either updated or installed on my laptop sometime over the past year affected something in the Turbo Tax software package.

That sounds like a problem with your Windows 10 operating system. It may need to be updated.You can try the following:

1. Open the Settings menu 

2. Go to Update&Security>Windows Update

3. Click Check for Updates , the update will occur automatically

4. Restart your computer when the update is complete

You may need to uninstall and reinstall TurboTax if it still won't work.

Did the update for turbo tax but the error 2329 keeps coming up.  what do I do to get past this?
