NC.
and @Mommy2112
Some NC forms (including the main Form D-400) are not yet finalized and available for efiling. Projected availability date is 2/24/2022, according to the availability tables:
State Forms Availability Table:

If you wish, you can efile the Federal return now (if all your Fed forms are available) and efile the NC state return later. To do that, you would need to temporarily change the filing method for the state return and tell TurboTax that you intend to "mail" the state return. Then when the state forms are available you can switch the method back to efile.
If you need to check on Federal forms:
TurboTax IRS Federal Forms Availability Table:

I was able to FINALLY e file but could only file the federal. Will have to go back and file the nc state when it becomes available

The problem is most likely the state. I separated my FED from the state and it went thru. I will just try the state again in a week or 2 but the FED part sent ok.

If you are referring to a North Carolina return, some NC forms (including the main Form D-400) are not yet finalized and available for efiling. Projected availability date is 2/24/2022, according to the availability tables:

As you experienced, those who wish to do so can efile the Federal return now (if all one's Fed forms are available) and efile the NC state return later. To do that, you would need to temporarily change the filing method for the state return and tell TurboTax that you intend to "mail" the state return. Then when the state forms are available you can switch the method back to efile.
Has this been resolved yet? I am trying to transmit federal, Sc anf NC and keep getting same message.
Me too. For NC and SC. It is 2/14/22
I was able to start printing them on Saturday. This has been so aggravating.
I agree. Prob my last year for Turbo Tax
@vsanchez232 I’m having the exact same problem. After waiting a couple weeks for my state form to come through proving I live in NC, I went to go file and it says the Tax Years 2021 transmissions are not available. What should I do in this scenario?!

Some NC forms (including the main Form D-400) are not yet finalized and available for efiling. Projected availability date in order to efile a North Carolina return is 2/24/2022, according to the availability tables at the link below. It looks like most South Carolina forms are available now for efiling except for a couple of less common forms (see table).

Yup. Same error here in NC.."Tax Year 2021 transmission are not available." After I completed everything else, and got to submit.

I am having the same problem. I seriously do not understand how they can let us file taxes come up with all this stuff with punch our numbers in to the crunching come up with an estimated refund. Tell me my taxes Both federal and state are complete And ready to file yet when I go to file several times now I keep being told that the IRS is not excepting 2021 transmissions yet. And there’s also been a message about North Carolina not having the proper paper or TurboTax not having the proper updates one of the two I’m not exactly sure now I’m so frustrated with it. I’ve asked over and over and still not got an answer.
