Federal & SC e-filed. Will wait until after 2/24/2022 to try to e-file the NC return.
Thank you,
Thank you for the instructions. I changed my NC state filing from e-file and it allowed me to go ahead and e-file my federal return.
This is not limited to RI. I'm having the same issue and I'm in NC.
It's been a week, and I just got the same error in my Fed/NC return.
It says “tax year 2021 transmissions are not available” when I try to file my NC state taxes.
I'm in NC. Just tried to file this morning (2-14) and got this nasty Valentine. No reference number, no error code, no way to directly report this error. I too, have already paid TT to e-file my NC taxes. We need an update on this issue really soon so that we know what our options are!
I am having the same issue as well... I'm in North Carolina. Not sure if on the Fed or State side. However, it was very disappointing not able to say " I finished our taxes honey ". Never had an issue in 10+ years of using Turbo. Hopefully, it will be fixed very soon. Glad to know it is a Known Issue. I'll keep trying every morning I guess ?

The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing. It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022
Go to this TurboTax website for North Carolina state forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_nc_online_individual.html
If you want to e-file your federal tax return now then change how you file the NC state return. This assumes that all of the forms and schedules included in your federal tax return are available for e-filing.
If using the TurboTax online editions click on File on the left side of the online program screen. On Step 3 of the File section click on Start or Revisit. Select the button File by Mail. Then change the filing status of the state return.
After the federal return is e-filed and accepted by the IRS you can e-file the state return when it is available for e-filing. Just use the same procedure and change the state return back to e-filing.

This was extremely helpful. I was at least able to get my federal filed and I'll come back and do NC in later weeks. Thank you for this!!
I’m having the same problem with e-filing federal & NC. When will this be fixed?

You can file federal but NC hasn't completed their forms yet. See instructions in previous chats about how to change filing status and file federal then NC when they get their crap together.
Same error in NC. Unable to efile Federal or State at this time.
