In 2023 I attended the cosmetology school for which I paid $3000. I work as the esthetician. Can I claim this amount as my expense? Thank you.

Maybe.  You may be eligible for an education expense tax credit such as the American Opportunity Credit or Lifetime Learning Credit IF the cosmetology school participates in a student aid program run by the US Department of Education.
