Downloaded version does not accept the TD Ameritrade 1099 Document ID. Error shown is that the number of characters is incorrect. I have entered the ID various ways and they return with the same error.

TurboTax recommends you review the import data to your 1099B source document to ensure all the transactions imported correctly. Many times the import might be incomplete. Make sure and review those entries to your 1099B received from TD Ameritrade and make any changes. Additionally, brokerage firms have till 2/15 to issue your 1099s. I would recommend waiting till mid-February to file your returns.
Your solution did not help. I contacted TD Ameritrade and they suggested entering the Document ID in all caps. That worked.
IS there a Fix now?
I got the same error for TD Ameritrade.
It accepted a similar Doc number when I was importing Vanguard today.
Whats the reason its not working for TD AMERITRADE?
I really need this import To run .
AFTER I SHUTDOWN AND RESTARTED, I OPENED TURBOTAX, SAID YES TO ALLOW UPDATES TO MY COMPUTER.
RE ENTERED THE TD AMERITRADE DOC ID WITH CAP LOCK AND IT WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE THE IMPORT!!
