@LucasTheWalter did they give you a csv file? and if yes, were able to upload it to turbotax?

Hi @Cass0317! Unfortunately, I think most of us are having issues with regular base level Coinbase, NOT Coinbase Pro. I know that my issue has nothing to do with Coinbase Pro; I’ve never had Coinbase pro.

Hi @Cass0317 - I might be reading this wrong, but it seems like you are suggesting we should find help in a post that states clearly "NONE of these headers have what TurboTax is looking for"...

and that doesn't seem very helpful.

What a joke, this is the help we get?!? And condescending as well. Regular coin base not coinbase pro. The csv file doesnt load. Both turbotax & coin base says they will work but they don't. Seriously, we should start a class action against TurboTax. 

These so called “experts” just keep referring us to the useless Q&A threads or ask us to contact Customer support, which we did and have no use. 

Fortunately I haven’t paid TurboTax yet. If this problem isn’t fixed I rather spend money to hire an accountant to file my tax this year

+1 for a fix on TurboTax being able to perform the functionality it is advertising by allowing uploads of csv files exported directly from Coinbase.. Has this really been going on for weeks, during tax season? Pretty ridiculous. Certainly this cannot be a difficult bug fix for a competent software development team.

Same problem.  From what I recall, I was able to do this last year with no problems.  But some are saying this has been happening every year so not sure what gives.

I think I’ve found the answer as to why Coinbase’s file isn’t working. 
They sent an email out regarding crypto taxes to account holders. I’m the email:

  Use TurboTax Premier (there is a $15 discount for CoinBase users on their website under the tax information), which easily handles cryptocurrency gains and losses reporting when you upload your CoinTracker report.

I’ve highlighted and bolder the last sentence above. Looks like Coinbase is forcing us into CoinTracker to use with TurboTax. I had barely too many transactions overall to qualify for the free CoinTracker download so I cannot confirm if that .csv file actually works or not. I did find though that I only had 3 sells for 2020 so that was the data I pulled to manually enter into Turbo for gains/losses this year.

TurboTax removed the links before I hit post. 
You can get the discount through Coinbase under the tax tab. I just clicked that and it opened Turbo in a new webpage. It’ll show the Coinbase logo at the bottom of the Turbo screen once activated. 
Also you can search CoinTracker on Google. It’s the first thing that comes up. There are no discounts for that. Under 25 transactions is free and then there’s two other report purchase options depending on how many transactions you have. The lowest was like $59.
