I can import from various financial institutions but not from Fidelity Investments. When I click to import, an Intuit Sign in screen comes up for added security. I sign into Intuit correctly, it spins, but nothing imports from Fidelity and there is no error message either, just the try again button or skip import. Why is this Intuit Safe sign in popping up or necessary? It does not popup for my other financial imports.. Note, Fidelity was working last week, although forms weren't ready. Today there was a TurboTax update and now this Intuit popup sign in for Fidelity? How can this be bypassed or turned off? What is the problem? Thank you for any help....

I was successful importing from Fidelity tonight on 14-Feb-2023.
Thank you. I can import from other banks however when I try to import from Fidelity, a popup Intuit Safe Sign In pops up that I have to sign into Intuit first. But not able to import from Fidelity. It looks like that Intuit Sign in should not be there.... I never saw it before, and only when I go to Fidelity. It was there last week either.
You may need to check your brokerage to see if they are allowing third-party access. Although the following Help Article is for Schwab, it is possible that your brokerage has restricted TurboTax's access to your statements unless you grant consent, and you might need to do something similar to what is described below:
I don't remember the exact process, but as I recall it was wierd.
1) I decide to import from Fidelity
2) TurboTax opens a browser window for me to log into
3) That window goes to the Fidelity website
4) Once completed, I returned to Fidelity and it told me there were no files at the moment.
Yep @rlstrommen @Frac
After the Intuit login, another window is supposed to pop up to present the Fidelity login. It's on a separate screen, so it might be behind the main tax software page.
Have a pop-up blocker?...that could cause problems...also the Edge browser was needed as the primary web browser for a bunch of folks for logging in the Fidelity UserID/PWD.
_______________
Yeah, the Fidelity access procedure is full of bugs this year...massive problems for bunches of folks.
One person who was using the Brave browser...said they got it to work by turning off the Brave "Shields" (whatever they are)
