Can I import last years return that was filed through an accountant?

I have been using Turbotax for years but my 2018 return was very complex so I had to go with an accountant. I have a PDF of the return. In a sense, I need to 'fill the gap of 2018' in Turbotax as many things need to carry over into my 2019 return.

Do you have the 2018 pdf saved on a flash drive or some other device?   Heads up--not much is going to transfer from a pdf.

Good luck.  You need to have the actual electronic pdf file not a printed or scanned copy.  And then it only transfers your basic personal info.  See the last section here.  Or you will just have to manually enter any 2018 it needs as you go along.

Transfer pdf to Online version.  See the section if you used other software last year.
