If you entered self-employment income that is why it upgraded to Self-Employed. The Free Edition cannot support self employment income. Did you enter income that was on a 1099Misc?
If you qualify to use it, there is another full-featured free version of the software:
Try Free File:
You qualify if your income was $36,000 or less, or $69,000 or less if active duty military, or if you qualify for Earned Income Credit

Note: If you do not qualify to use Free File then you will have to upgrade to Deluxe or higher in the paid versions of the software.
Online Deluxe $60 State software $50

You said you already filed? With IRS Free File website? Then what are you trying to do now in Turbo Tax?
I suspect @enen90 is using the word "filed" to mean he filled in the data, since he says it keeps putting him into Self-Employed.
@enen90 Did you e-file? And did you really use the IRS Free File site---or did you start out in Free Edition on the TurboTax site and not notice until later that you were not in the free software?
I was given option to file with IRS free file Program since I qualify. I only made $11,000 for the year 2019.
Why does TurboTax keeps changing to Self-Employed and wants me to Pay $200? Can you show me a way to finalize my tax without being charged. I am not even getting a refund.
IRS free file program delivers by turbotax. But it changes to Self employed file and charges me at the end. Why?
