This is horrible by turbo tax. How many people can’t file their taxes because of a messsup by their code? I called IRS and they informed me this document is available at all tax companies and it’s up to tax companies to implement them. So why do we have to wait till March 15 to file? This is a joke right? I been a user of TurboTax for 10 years and this will be the reason why I leave to go to taxact.

how do we contact someone from turbotax to get this resolved instead of giving us bot answers?

this is unfair that i am my taxes paid for, all completed, and now i cant submit because turbotax doesnt have the 8915-f form ready for 2023 taxes. Do we need to switch providers? Because i contacted txact and they have it available as of 1 month ago

Was this a withdrawal due to a 2021, 2022, or 2023 Qualified Disaster?

 don't answer yes because if you do- you cant finish your return at turbo tax!!!!!!!!!!!

March 8. Still can’t file. Are you guys actually working on the issue or just sitting around drinking coffee. I’ve replaced 6 transmissions and rebuilt 3 engines by myself since I last responded late February, yet the thousands of programmers at turbo tax takes 3 months to fix a coding issue?!?! What are you all doing to fix this? And if you respond with the same “check back on blah blah blah” I’m gonna scream. Give us an actual,  human answer - what is the problem, and how can I file the form right now that is available by the IRS on TurboTax? Earn that paycheck.

We do not have more information than this:  Form 8915-F does show as being available on the Form Availability List.  However there are some software updates being implement that have resulted in a delay.  Please check back after 3/15/2024, update your software if you are in the desktop version of the software, and try to proceed with your return.

Absolutely mind blowing to be this bad for the #1 tax company around..... can't even belive that this is happening! Oh yah and they definitely won't give me a refund of the money I already paid so I can go somewhere else! Don't worry last year with these guys for sure!

It has said “ready soon” since FEBRUARY FIRST!!! What is your all’s concept of “soon” - 3 months?????? How hard is it to fix a glitch that YOUR company caused?!?!? You all work from February 1st to mid April every year. That’s it. 3 months. Why can’t you guys have forms ready on TIME, and why do you all lie over and over and over again about when the form is going to be ready????? If it’s not going to be ready then TELL US and QUIT LYING!!!

I just got off the phone with support and after more than an hour, the determination from them is that its not going to be available this year. But I have also received a total of four different answers from them regarding form 8915F over the last four weeks, so who knows if that is actually the case.

So @CatinaT1 what's the new and improved update from turbo tax now. What's our new wait date! Should we just keep waiting till out taxes are late. Oh and by the way for us online users maybe you can explain why we can't get our money back. Since we can't file with turbo tax because they are an incomplete system that does not have all the forms needed to file!
