2023 amend using TurboTax online button not working, any ideas? it does nothing when you click it

On the very first screen after you log in, it asks you to start. When scrolling down further, it says Your tax returns & documents. You can expand that, click on 2023, expand Amend, and the button is there.

Thank you for replying. I was aware on how to do all the steps. The issue is when you click the “amend using turbo tax online” button it doesn’t open anything or lead anywhere. It only lets you click but stays on the same page. It doesn’t actually lead anywhere. That’s the issue I’m having

When you click on the 'Amend Using TurboTax Online' button, you should see this screen:

You might need to clear your Cache and Cookies or try a different browser.

Please let me know if you are able to get to this screen.

It did not. I’ve tried google, safari, and Firefox on a laptop, cellphone, and desktop. All did not work. I think it may be an issue with the sight as I’ve seen some other people are experiencing similar issues

To clarify, 

are you sure this is the same online account you used to file your Tax Year 2023 return? You can check by going to "My Tax Returns and Documents", verify the online program has the 2023 return and indicates that it was filed.

I'm having this issue too. Literally the button doesn't work.

I'd already amended once so maybe that's the bug? But it's a website problem.

You can amend using TurboTax Online. Do not use the Amend using TurboTax Online button. Instead do this:

1. Start the 2024 online tax return by entering some personal information
2. Then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen
3. Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents
4. Click on Tax Year 2023
5. Click on Amend (change) 2023 return
