  • Hello in 2022 I created some videos for pinterest rewards program and I made 2738$ as a self employment income and that's my only income for the year, it's also my first time as a self employed so I have couple of questions :
  • Do I have to pay quarterly taxes for this amount?
  • How do I file( in which forms do I need to use to report this income)
  • When is the deadline for me to file it?
  • Do I have to file for state as well? ( I live in Georgia state)
  • If I don't receive the 1099 NEC, how can I still file my taxes?

Yes, you have to file---you have self-employment income -- if you have self-employment income of even $400 you are required to file and pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare.   Your filing deadline is  April 17, 2023.

To avoid using the expensive online Self-Employed software you might try using the IRS Free File site later in January.

Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free.  There are 8  free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

Thank you for the answer, but I m still confused about state taxes, do I have to make estimated tax payments to state of Georgia in that income ( 2738 $ that I made)

Since you made so little you do not need to make any estimated payments at all.
