Question

1099 Imports

My 1099 Int/Div is online for a week and every time I select UBS Financial from the  import pick list I just get a popup telling me it's not available.

Question: Is there a way to import the file as a PDF, I use the desktop version of Home & Business, not TT online.

Question: I keep forgetting to select "email me when someone replies" to previous posts...how do I find my posts to the Community, I've poked around too long and found nothing.

Thanks Team....

Don't enter the bank name and don't try to import it.  It is just as fast and easy to manually enter interest and dividends.   At the bottom pick Change How I enter my Form

Then on the next screen pick I'll Type it in Myself

See this help article for troubleshooting steps with importing a document.

As @VolvoGirl stated, it is fast and easy to enter a Form 1099-INT manually. In TurboTax Desktop:

    1. Open your return
    2. Click the Federal tab
    3. Click "I'll choose what I work on"
    4. Scroll down to Interest and Dividends
    5. Click Start or Update next to Interest on 1099-INT
    6. Click Add interest income
    7. Click the radio button next to I'll type it in myself
    8. Click Continue
    9. Follow the prompts and enter the information from your form

For more information on interest income, see this article.
