Program updates

I purchased the desktop version of TurboTax Premier in December 2025.  Since the initial download, I have not received a single program update.  In past years, I could count on almost weekly updates.  What is going on???  As an example, the 401(k), IRAs and pension section displays as available soon.  When will it be available???

Most likely next week. A lot of forms are scheduled to become available as of 1/6/2026.

Depends on when you bought and installed.

Regular updates were issued in early Dec, but none on Christmas week or New Year's week.

We are all waiting for an expected update overnight on 5 or 6 January...so check 7 Jan.

.....but perhaps some programming update disaster will delay it all until late in the week or even the week after.

With your 2025 TurboTax desktop software started -

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen

Then click on Updater Preferences.  Make sure that Automatically download updates is selected.

Additionally, you can check for updates at any time by clicking on Online and then click on Check for Updates
