Hi there,

I was charged $168 to finish filing taxes when I know I didn’t add on any help with the “self employed” additions I was charged. I had to submit my taxes tonight of course so I didn’t have time to reach out to support.

Is there a way to prove I did not use these additions?

So you ended up in the wrong edition?   Did you use Self-Employed Edition at $119 for Federal and $49 for State, when you don't have any self-employment income  and didn't need a Schedule C?

Did you think you were in a lower edition?

You could talk to TurboTax Support and tell them you didn't prepare a Schedule C (if that's the case).  I don't know what they will say/do.

TurboTax Support hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7 days/week

If you are prompted for your issue, you can just say billing issue.
