What kind of product can generate form 1099 misc? we will have more than 500

Out of curiosity, what type of business do you have that needs to issue that many 1099-MISCs?

Right,  if you have a business that big you should have a bookkeeper or accountant.  Or are you doing these for different employers?  You can’t use Turbo Tax to prepare returns and 1099s for clients.

Are you using TurboTax for the tax return?  Or are you using a tax professional for the tax return?  If you are not using TurboTax, there may be other options to try.

Another thing to consider:  Are most of these 1099-MISC for the technicians that do the work?  If so, you need to really analyze if they are actually Independent Contractors or if they are employees.  In that line of business, it can be a tricky line.

I don’t know if there is a limit but you need to use either the
Online Self Employed version
Or the Desktop CD/Download Home & Business version
Or the Desktop CD/Download separate Business program
