Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Once you register your tax return, or pay any TurboTax fees, we can no longer clear and start over. Registered? What does this mean? I want to clear and start over.

What does Registered mean?  I finished my return but need to make changes or start over.  What to do?

If it won't let you clear and start over you can try to change it.  Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.

Or if it doesn't let you clear and you haven't paid or filed you could just start a new account.  Online is only good for 1 return per account.  But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts.   How to start another return in the Online version

I tried backing into the program but it tells me that I have to wait for 1040X to amend.  I used the free app to do my dtr ' n laws return but wanted to go back in and make a state change and put refund on a card rather than print and mail.  Then it went into all the "no changes after registering" so i just figured I'd clear and start over.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions.  I will open another account and start from scratch.  Again, thanks for helping a newbie.
