If your divorce decree was executed after 12/31/2018, alimony paid and alimony received are not entered on a federal tax return.

If you entered alimony on the federal tax return and it is reported on 2021 Schedule 1 Line 2a, then you will have to amend the 2021 tax return to remove the alimony received.
