Need phone number to talk to live IRS person on status of refund transmitted 2/15/18

I'm not getting no where my taxes was done on March 3, 2021 and no status yet.

Unfortunately, during tax season, the IRS has a high call volume.

When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.   

Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.   

Then Press 1    

Then Press 3   

Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.

That number to the IRS to talk to a live person isn’t working. I followed the steps and it says due to high call volumes I need to try later! 
How do I get answers? Now Turbo Tax is asking for there money that was supposed to come from my refund. Turbo Tax is not helping me at all. If Turbo Tax wants to charge me why can’t they help me tract my refund. How can I get answers about my refund? This whole tax refund is garbage! Someone please help us. Everyone lies and will not give information!

The IRS is running behind due to COVID, CARES Act, stimulus and a huge amount of early tax returns being filed this year.

They are so delayed that they postponed the filing date from April 15 to May 17.

21 days is not a magic number - it is just a goal.

TurboTax only gives the general IRS (most returns are processed within 21 days) date. The actual date is known only by the IRS. TurboTax also does not adjust the general date for anything on the tax return. TurboTax receives no feedback from the IRS after filing.

The IRS says most refunds will be issued within 21 days - some faster, some longer.
(Most means more than half so many take longer - MUCH longer)

Each tax return is evaluated on it's own merits. There is no first-in-first-out. Two similar tax return submitted at the same time can have totally different processing times based on IRS criteria for examining tax returns that the IRS does not divulge.

Some returns will be held for ID verification or other verification. The IRS will send a letter if they require more information to process your tax return.

Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date. The IRS usually pays most refunds within 21 days. But these are not normal times. This year is taking the IRS longer to send the refunds. There are millions more people filing returns to get the Stimulus payment.

I filed and was accepted March 13! I cannot get anyone. I followed yur instructions to get live agent. Doesn’t work! Nothing works! This is all bull**bleep**. Almost 2 months and no refund. Turbo Tax is hounding me for money that was supposed to come from refund. Turbo Tax does nothing to help! Everyone lies! What can I do? Where can I go? I will have to pay a lot for Turbo Tax. There are about 3 million others that have been waiting since February and 1.8 million are waiting for 2019 refunds.  This has been all over the news.  Once filed, TurboTax gets no information.
