My federal returns were rejected because my deceased wife's ss# in on the return, but she did in March of 2019?

Sorry for your loss. There is a problem with Efiling when one spouse died during the year. You have print and mail your return this year.

My federal return was reject for the same reason..my husband passed away October of 2019. I am preparing a printed copy now to mail. How frustrating!
