A rejection means both the returns AND the payment info never reached the IRS/State.

My efile was rejected and the $15 charge was on my credit card statement . Now I have resubmitted and I am being charged $25.

@tangie47 Did you use the Desktop installed program? You shouldn't pay again (there was a price increase on March 1). Call in and ask.
