My daughter is 19, lives at home, and received her W-2 with the earnings of $14,500. Does she need to file taxes or can we still claim her as a dependent?

Does a 19 year old, who lived at home with her parents the entire year, need for file her own taxes if she made between $14,000 and $15,000?

Yes she has to file her own return for it.  When did she turn 19?   Was she a full time student?  If she was 19 on December 31 and was not a full time student in 2023 you can not claim her anymore.

Online is only good for one return per account. You can use the same email address for 5 accounts. They can probably use the Free Edition. How to start a new online return

If she is age 19 or older and Not a full time student with gross income in 2023 of $4,700 or more then no one can claim her as a dependent.

She will need to file her own tax return since her income is more than $13,850.
