My 2020 return was rejected and I can't find out why, I can't figure out how to re-file. Is there a paid package of turbotax where they actually help you?

TurboTax help tells me to buy some plus package and when I click it all it does it close the help screen and take me to a blank screen. It's really hard to find anything in turbotax. The IRS website has a transcript lookup but it just says 2020 was rejected, no reason why or how to fix it. No clue on what to do, and since it's been years I would even pay for some premium package but the turbotax website is just a blank screen when I log in. Pretty sure I'm switching to another tax service but since it's been years and the IRS is going to wonder where my 2020 return is I'm pretty desperate for help.

We cannot find out why your 2020 return was rejected for you.. But most rejections are for AGI.   Since you only needed AGI in order to e-file, you  no longer need it.   You cannot e-file 2020 even if you enter the right AGI.  The only way to file 2020 is to mail it.  So print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
