Mortgage interest

What happens if you and another person are both on a mortgage and both claimed the interest paid when taxes were filled.

If you are co-owners of a house  then if you each enter information about the house, you each enter only the amount you personally paid for the mortgage interest and property tax.  You cannot each claim to have paid 100% of it.
