Would you have a way of assessing whether the latest update of the Premier Edition has this same bug?
If not, that might be an option, would need to understand better what the Home and Business has that Premier doesn't...
Thanks in advance for any info.

What I don't understand: they keep referring to a "database" of known issues, and this is NOT on that list. So why this over-arching resistance to logging this potential bug into that list? Just not something any rep I've talked to yet has been willing or perhaps able to do...
It is not a "known issue" because it is new and has not yet reached the developers and verified as a defect. As I said - getting past the phone operators to an actual Mac tech support is not easy. The phone operators just follow a script - you need a tech with a Mac to actually test it them self to see the problem first hand. (If there were dozens of Mac users calling then it would get their attention, but you are a lone voice.)

I am sure that it does, The basic application is the same for all versions, just the interview is different.
All desktop versions have the same forms and the forms mode is the same for all versions - only the interview is different.
(1) "All desktop versions have the same forms and the forms mode is the same for all versions - only the interview is different."
Well that's very interesting and good to know!
(2) My phrasing was not clear: I understand why it is NOT on the list now, what I don't understand is their reticence in taking information and putting it on that list! Apparently, they view tech support's job as fending off reports of problems...said only half sarcastically...the "new license key" suggestion was made by a "supervisor"!
(3) Your suggestion re "interview" mode will need to be the operative course. With enough clicking, I've worked my way thru the (laborious) "interview mode" and can get to the information I need, then go and review the Form directly to make sure the form is filled in as intended...will be slow, but workable.
Thanks for your assistance on this; I've given up on their tech support.
Yes. Just after I updated.

It has been confirmed that it is a bug in the latest Mac update and referred to the developers. No status yet.
Interview mode works fine.
Having the same issue- can not use Quickzoom. Did you get a resolution?
Forewarning: this is a rant…
Turbotax Tech Support is laughable. Suggestion: reinstall the program.
To play along, I reinstalled the program, no difference.
Then, screen-shared to show them the problem, and opened prior year program to show them proper operation.
Their response: hmmm, your license key must be corrupt, we’ll send another for you to reinstall AGAIN, call us back if that doesn’t fix it…
I gave up, hoping enough discussion of this that someone there who cares sees it.
This has been referred to the developers. I will check tomorrow or Tues (when they are open) and see if there is any status.
FYI, I received conformation that this bug has been resolved with a change that should be in the next released update. I am not sure when that will be, but this time of year there is usually no more than one update a month of so.
Thank you!
Thanks for pushing that thru…certainly wasn’t going to happen thru their regular channels.
The update that fixes it is now available.
Well....fixes that but breaks something else?
Would you be good enough to create a new Asset Entry worksheet and then try to select the "type" of asset under field #5 - this is supposed to show a LONG list of asset types...now only 2 more or less useless types.
Thanks
FYI: "Interview" mode continues to function properly, but for those who do this repetitively it's laborious...
