KY State Taxes Rejected with No Error Code

I have filed my KY taxes FOUR times. KY has rejected my taxes FOUR times. TurboTax says it's fine every time. My email doesn't list any error codes. This is what the email says:

What happened

ReturnState/ReturnDataState/WksA/KYTaxOnAdjustedIncome - Data in the return is missing or invalid. Please double check your entries.

However, all of the information was fine for my federal and for my Mississippi taxes. All I can guess is that the stupid company I worked for in Kentucky listed my work location as Florence, OH, but that's not my fault. My taxes went to Ohio, not Kentucky, even though I wasn't living or working in Ohio. How am I supposed to fix this? And if that ISN'T the reason my return is being rejected, then why is it being rejected? I'm literally putting in all of the information correctly and getting no guidance from TurboTax.

More clarification on your tax situation is needed to assist you and answer your question correctly -

    1. If your employer paid Ohio tax, did you file a nonresident Ohio return for a refund of erroneous tax paid?
    2. Is Ohio the only state listed in your W-2 state in Box 15-17?
    3. Why do you file a Mississippi state return?

    1. I didn't know I had to file for Ohio since I didn't live or work in Ohio. I assumed I lost that money due to the company's error.

    2. Yes, Ohio is the only state listed on that return. The city is listed as Florence, but I worked in Florence, Kentucky not Florence, Ohio.

    3. I filed for Mississippi because I moved from Kentucky to Mississippi for work on February 14, 2020.

"ReturnState/ReturnDataState/WksA/KYTaxOnAdjustedIncome - Data in the return is missing or invalid."

This may be a message from the Kentucky e-file software, which means that you might have to call the Kentucky Department of Revenue to find out what it means.

On the face of it, you not reporting Kentucky withholding should not be a reject error, but in the state's message, they might mean something else.

"Yes, Ohio is the only state listed on that return. The city is listed as Florence, but I worked in Florence, Kentucky not Florence, Ohio."

Is this in boxes 15 through 20 on your W-2? I wonder if the Kentucky e-file system is confused because there is no city tax for Florence, Ohio? Was there actually an entry in box 19?

Unfortunately, if your employer actually sent your withholding to Ohio, then as Lenah said above, the only way to get it back is to file an Ohio nonresident return. That is the only way that Ohio will give it back to you.

OK, what are the values in boxes in boxes 15, 17, 19, and 20? (i.e., not your state and local income, unless you don't mind posting that on a public forum).
