@MichelleLO Thanks. I have already done that and was referred to this message to get my questions answered.
@Anonymous The first page of your state return should provide specific directions on what needs to be done.
@AshleyLO Exactly it should but it does not, don't you think I have looked. Again this why I am asking. Because it is not there.
@AshleyLO The image that vish9227 attached is not in my return anywhere. I know what I am looking for and its not there trust me.
@Anonymous With this being a public forum, we don't have access to your personal return to further assist you here. Please reach out to our live representatives for more help with this matter.
I will say this again as well. I have already done that and they directed me to this subject. But I will do it again.
i have the exact same issue. super disappointing to see turbo tax is not helpful in solving this issue. especially since they charge a ridiculous amount for their free tax service.

If you are trying to access the Filing Instructions page for your filed tax return, use Print Center and select to option for all worksheets.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2020 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
@Anonymous I have the same issue. Were you able to figure it out?
Yea doninga’s reply was helpful. For me specifically I just needed to upload my tax returns for the other states I filed in. I could upload them to the Colorado tax webpage the following day. It wouldn’t allow me to do it the day I filed. You can also submit whatever documents it’s requesting by mail.
not sure why Colorado can’t just accept the documents when the taxes are initially filed.
@nikkiapo Yeah I had to send the same form as vish9227. For some reason that form cant be efiled. None of the responses in this thread from “experts” were helpful for me. Not bashing them just saying none of their responses were my issue. They were just generic responses. I had to call to get my question answered and even them it took a while. The people I spoke to were all trying to figure what form I needed to file and none them could. I had to print out a different version of my Colorado taxes to get that i instruction page to show. Once I had that it was easy but took forever to get there.
@trevorstuart24 @Anonymous Thank you, guys! Appreciate the help
This is the exact answer! Thanks so much worked for me. I see the instructions now yay!
Can you confirm that if I received an email from TurboTax saying that Colorado has accepted my return that I'm all done, I do not have to mail any other forms? Thanks!
I can't be 100% certain that you don't have to mail any other forms. Have you followed DoninGA's advice to check the Print Center for All Worksheets to see if there are any documents to be mailed?
There are some situations where CO wants documentation for certain credits/subtractions claimed on the return, and they may have to be mailed or uploaded to the Colorado Department of Revenue.
In addition to checking the Print Center in TurboTax, if you are expecting a refund, you can check on the status of your CO refund here. That should let you know if your return has been processed or is waiting for additional documentation.
