It says I'm not entitled to efill one or more formsets why and how do I fix it ?

Many users have deleted the state tax return and then completed the state return to remove the Formset error.

Some TurboTax Online users have reported seeing the following error message: "Our records indicate that you are not entitled to efile one or more formsets." when attempting to E file their return.

Who is affected

Users affected by this error meet the following criteria:

• Using TurboTax Online
• Using TurboTax Mobile
• Attempting to Transmit returns

Work around

To work around this issue

• Log out of TurboTax Online
• Log back in
• Navigate through to efile the return

Additionally, you may need to remove your state and start it over to move past the error, and successfully e file.
