TurboTax Free Edition is very limited. It's only for the simplest tax returns. But if you have pension or IRA income on a 1099-R, with no complications, you can probably use Free Edition. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/file-your-own-taxes/#see-pricing
If your AGI is $73,000 or less you can probably use IRS Free File.

Yes there is but it is only for very simple tax returns which do not require any other IRS forms other than a Form 1040. If your tax data entered needs to be entered on another form or schedule other than a Form 1040 you will need to upgrade to the Deluxe edition or higher.
If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2022 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
