Is the download deluxe version for 2017 the same for a laptop and desktop? It says Schedule F is accessible on a desktop, but I use a laptop.

I don't believe I need to upgrade to the self-employed version, but I do need to access Schedule F.  I was able to do so on the 2016 Deluxe version.

"Desktop" in this context means you install the software to your own hard drive, instead of using the online version of the software.  It has nothing to do with whether you are using a desktop model computer or a laptop.

The TurboTax desktop CD/Download software can be installed on any personal computer with a Windows or Apple OS, desktop or laptop.  It cannot be installed on a mobile device, but there are TurboTax applications for mobile devices.

The Deluxe desktop edition supports Schedule F and all other forms and schedules to complete a personal tax return.  Every TurboTax desktop edition supports all the same forms, schedules and worksheets.  You just get more help and guidance for the higher priced editions.
